I used it for fishing for walleye. Compared to the Hondeux, the water depth is almost the same. It responds to fish shadows up to about 9m in depth, but not beyond that. As long as you understand the accuracy and use it accordingly, I think it's a good product that's affordable and usable.

Lucky is love, but last time I ordered it came with a 110v charging cord, but this time it came with a 220v one. This order was a favor from someone. Anyway, for an entry-level fishing rod, Lucky wired is the best.
